THE BLESSING OF THE PURSUIT
How can this miracle happen? Only Jesus can save us, cleanse us and set us free from sin and death.
When we meditate on what Jesus has redeemed us from; it creates within us a burning desire to be even closer to Him. The moment we recognize God as “Our God” we become hungry and thirsty for more of Him.
And then comes this amazing beatitude, this declaration of pure joy and happiness, from the lips of our Savior…”Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)
Jeremiah 29:13 offers the ultimate Prize of The Pursuit. And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.
So since The Prize is Promised then The Problem is the Pursuit! God has revealed Himself to us, in advance, that we can know Him, have fellowship with Him and forever be with Him. Our response is to engage this relationship with God, that is, to be a willing participant with God in mutual fellowship.

Good food is almost too obvious to give up. When I need breakthrough it means looking for what ever activity that I am putting in front of His will – this is what must stop. No idols before me is what always comes to mind. So that’s sports on TV, it’s not playing angry birds, my anger vs love responses and then sometimes it’s not eating a lunch or breakfast. God bless, hope this helps !

YOU’RE NOT THE ONLY ONE!
Common side effects of a fast is moderate to severe headaches. You (and others around you) may also find that you are “irritable”. These are common occurrences and most usually happens on day three, although this year today was my day-if you know what I mean. This is a de-tox symptom as your body rids itself of caffeine, salt, sugar or other impurities that your fast has cut out of your diet. You may need to take Advil or aspirin. If you cannot take these please consult your doctor for an alternative.
Best remedies: prayer, repentance, sleep, and apologies to those you love! The day after your “bad day” you will feel great and energized to continue what God has asked of you. Push Through In Your Pursuit!
