What is the gathering table?
Mission: The Gathering Table exists to extend the love of Christ by providing home-cooked meals and food support to individuals and families during seasons of need, creating opportunities for connection, care, and community.
Vision: To Cultivate a culture within our church where no one walks through hardships alone, and where meeting practical needs opens the door for spiritual encouragement deeper relationships, and the love of the Father to be experienced in tangible ways.
Why it matters: This ministry embodies our church’s mission to CONNECT through intentional care and presence, GROW through relationships built in times of need, and SERVE by meeting both physical and spiritual needs.
LOVE LIKE JESUS
By “breaking bread together", we reflect the early church model found in Acts 2:46 and live out the call to carry one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2)
“All of the meals will be prepared here, on-site, in our youth building in a controlled space with proper hygiene and sanitary measures taken to ensure health and safety for everyone”
What we do
The Gathering Table coordinates and provides home-cooked meals for families experiencing loss, illness, surgery recovery, or the arrival of a new baby. Meal support during unexpected life hardships, meal bags, and food insecurity.
